Cambridge Ellis has been my home since 1995. I am so proud to be a member of a collaborative professional learning community that supports and encourages educators to engage in the dynamic process of learning. I believe in guiding and supporting the development of resilience, trust, empathy, creativity, and confidence in the youngest learners at CES. This philosophy caries over to my family life as my husband and I enjoy spending time supporting and creating experiences to help our own children and family grow. I also take great pleasure in running, reading and time with family and friends.

My passion for working with children began at only eleven years old, when I began providing childcare for neighbors and family members. Every year since, then I have met and worked with children and families in a variety of private and professional settings. I feel blessed to work with these bright young children and to nurture their love for living and learning. While in college, I focused on the Expressive Arts with the intent to bring a creative, artful approach to my work with children. When I am not teaching I love to cook, read, and practice yoga.

I am proud to be a long-standing member of the Cambridge Ellis School. Since 2000, I have supported many children varying in ages from two to four years of age in the day program. In the afternoon I continue helping children learn and grow as a member of the English afterschool team. As a native speaker of Portuguese, I love to share my language and Brazilian culture with all the children at Cambridge Ellis. Outside of school I enjoy family, cooking, dancing, and my cat Shana.
