B.A. Cambridge College
My passion for teaching started before I graduated from high school in my native country, Peru. I pursued a degree in Early Childhood Education and I have been teaching since 2004. I love teaching young children about my culture and my language, and Cambridge-Ellis allows me to do that. I get to play and have fun while teaching a second language.
B.A. Barcelona University
I grew up in Barcelona, Spain. While studying for my degree in English Language and Literature, I started working in a language academy. There, I realized that teaching was my passion. I also learned how to build strong relationships with students while motivating them to continue learning at one of the most difficult times of the day, after school. I then became part of Barcelona Public Schools for four years, principally as an English and Spanish teacher, where I gained a deeper insight on how to design and execute lessons. I moved to Boston in 2015 and began working at CES as a Spanish teacher. In my free time, I like traveling, hiking and bike riding.
B.A. Escuela de Educadoras
After a year substituting at Cambridge-Ellis, I’m very excited to begin my first year as a full-time teacher in the Spanish program. Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, I graduated from Escuela de Educadoras “Laura Arce, A.C.” where I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education. Shortly after I graduated, I decided to expand my education by exploring a new country and learning a new language. I found myself here in Boston and immediately fell in love with the culture, the people, and the city. Along with my passion for teaching and caring for children, I enjoy yoga, distance running, and travel.
